'Marbuck'

Thank you so much for your Walk Me dog harnesses, it has been such a HUGE help with our dog.

He is a pet in an Aged Persons Home in remote Australia and when I arrived as a nurse to the home I was greeted by this big beautiful dog who was full of life, fit and healthy but who panicked when a lead or rope was brought anywhere near him.

If I managed to 'trick' him and get the lead onto his collar he would struggle to such an extent that I feared injury to his neck and spine.

Thanks to the Walk-Me dog harnesses, I am now able to slip the harness on without him attempting suicide and he will stand quietly while I wash and brush him, something that I had not been able to do since I arrived at the facility, 5 months previously.

When that was achieved we began with the walking lessons. And what a difference! While he still has a way to go, the change in our rambunctious four legged friend is astounding, he is now able to enjoy outings beyond the perimeter fence and he and I can spend some quality time in a walking for fitness programme.

Thank you very very much Walk-Me Slip Harness, for both the valuable product and the service you offer. Many many of our canine friends will, I'm sure, be very grateful! I know our Marbie most definitely is!!

The Power of Dog Healing
by: Lou-ann Atkinson - Site Proprietor

His face says it all, the power of healing that dogs can offer us never ceases to amaze me.

I watched the joy in the faces of all the residents at my own mother's nursing home, when I would take in my little dogs for a visit.

My little girls, Billy and Jiffy, would just burst with love and delight as they greeted each and every one of these Senior Citizens and, even the ones who said they didn't like dogs would respond with big smiles...

Keep up your good work,
Cheers,

He looks like one Happy Dog

What a gorgeous face your boy has .... I can see why you would need a little restraint ... He's a big boy!

Animals bring so much joy to those that are ill or incapacitated, you must, very much, love that side of your job!
