Thank you so much for your Walk Me dog harnesses, it has been such a HUGE help with our dog.
He is a pet in an Aged Persons Home in remote Australia and when I arrived as a nurse to the home I was greeted by this big beautiful dog who was full of life, fit and healthy but who panicked when a lead or rope was brought anywhere near him.
If I managed to 'trick' him and get the lead onto his collar he would struggle to such an extent that I feared injury to his neck and spine.
Thanks to the Walk-Me dog harnesses, I am now able to slip the harness on without him attempting suicide and he will stand quietly while I wash and brush him, something that I had not been able to do since I arrived at the facility, 5 months previously.
When that was achieved we began with the walking lessons. And what a difference! While he still has a way to go, the change in our rambunctious four legged friend is astounding, he is now able to enjoy outings beyond the perimeter fence and he and I can spend some quality time in a walking for fitness programme.
