THE RIGHT DOG HARNESS IS THE ONLY HUMANE OPTION! WHY?
IT'S ALARMING! Did You Know?
A Good Case For Using A Dog Harness.
A Study of 400 dogs conducted in Sweden by Behaviorist, Anders Hallgren, his students and several Chiropractors found that; 63% of the dogs examined had neck and spinal injuries. 78% of the dogs with aggression or over activity problems had neck and spinal injuries. And, of the dogs with neck injuries, 91% experienced hard jerks on a collar and leash and / or strained against their leashes.

We must stop hurting and causing damage to our dogs. They don't have a voice, they rely on us!They don't complain! Whether it's through ignorance or innocence, we no longer can make justified excuses. There are really good 'humane' options available to us that are, way more effective than using a dog's neck and head area, it's just knowing about them.
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
There are literally dozens of different dog harnesses on the market. Ranging from designer dog harnesses, puppy harnesses to a no pull harness and everything in between. The choices are endless, so, what should you be looking for? Well, dog harnesses basically fall into two (2) categories; 'Fixed' Position Body Harnesses AND 'Slip' Action Body Harnesses. Either category is a better choice than dog training collars with dog leashes. However, you still need to be thoughtful because, there is cruelty built into some harnesses. We advocate "Training and Restraining Without Pain".
Below Is An Overview Of The Options Available To Help You Make The Best Choice For Your Needs
A thought to keep in mind; No matter how polite your dog may well be on a collar and dog leash there will always be a time when he/she gets excited and jerks or pulls against the collar and lead OR a time when, you need to give a tug or send a message to your dog to 'settle down'.It is for these reasons we suggest that, 'all' dogs no matter how small or large should be walked in a harness. Knowing what we know now, I am truely saddened by what I put my best mates through, all in the name of 'training'. I am hopeful that, as you read and learn more of the facts from the abovementioned Study you will, like us, make the change over to a body harness. As you finish with this page please don't forget to CLICK on the link below to learn from this Study. When We Know Better We Do Better Oh the benefits of hindsight! Commonsense should have told me that there are vital structures in the neck and head area that need to be protected. But, I just did what we and everyone else had always been doing, not giving the risks a second thought. Dog Training Collars and Dog Leashes were just the norm!
Slip Action Dog Harness
Having tried every dog harness on the market we could find over the years, we came to the conclusion that; they all lacked the ability to let us 'humanely' convey a clear and consistent message to our dogs. This made controlling an exuberant dog and / or training a dog, with a fixed position body harness, very difficult and quite ineffective. They just didn't have the capacity to allow us to communicate a message to our dog/s AND, because of this, they actually encouraged the dog to set him/herself against the comfy harness and 'pull', the very behaviour we were trying to eliminate or at least, not encourage. Hence, the invention of the Walk-Me Slip Harness, Click Here To Learn More - The Best Dog Harness. The 'Slip' harness works on the principle of 'Give & Take', just like the check/choker collar does. However, it spreads the 'Take' over a larger 'feel' area of the dog's body as opposed to targeting the vital structures in the neck area. This is the harness we believe to be the kindest and most effective dog walking harness available. Once you've had the chance to learn more about it we'd welcome your feedback and comments. There are very few genuine 'slip' action type harnesses on the market. Be wary of the ones that are made of a 'cord' type material, these can be quite severe and cause bruising in the soft tissue areas under the front legs and around the body. Remember, our aim is to not cause pain or permanent damage, but to; create a difference in feeling between comfort and discomfort - to be able to send a clear and consistent message as and when needed. The Walk-Me Slip Harness is made of soft, flat and wide nylon webbing, so it can't or is most unlikely to, cause any pain or bruising to any dog. It is certainly positioned on the dog so as to not ever interfere with any vital stuctures or organs.

Fixed Position Dog Harness
This photo is of a typical 'fixed' position body harness. It is adjustable to some degree, to the size of the dog, however, it does not provide any method of controlling or communicating a message to the dog.
It is though, a comfortable and kind walking harness. It shouldn't cause any pain or discomfort to your dog and certainly will not damage any vital structures or organs. A much better option than using a collar & leash. The Following Are Some More Examples Of 'Fixed' Position Body Harnesses. There are as many different shapes and sizes as you can think of. However, the principle of them remains the same - "they are fixed" and offer no means of communication. They are however, a better option than using some form of dog training collar.
