A Dingo Puzzle
We just rescued a bitch from the rspca her mother is a staffi but the breed of the sire was unknown.
Having a country upbringing i started looking at her more closely in the past couple of weeks.
I have just checked out this site and am convinced that the people that surrendered her did not tell the truth. On this site I have seen 2 or 3 photos that could be our Jenny.
Is there a blood test that can be done. She is a beautiful girl but I just want to know for sure?.

I would also want to know what my dog's breeding was, especially if there was a chance that she could be a Dingo.
As a Dingo, Jenny would have certain characteristics and strong, inbred instincts that would be beneficial for you to understand in developing your relationship with her.
The R.S.P.C.A. are very thorough in their assessment of the dogs they put up for adoption. I would be surprised if they hadn't picked up on any Dingo breeding in her, however, mistakes can always be made.
I'm not sure if there is a blood test available for genetic testing. Maybe you could return to the RSPCA and ask to speak with one of their Vets. I'm sure they'd be happy to help you identify Jenny's breeding a little more than they have to date.
Also, there is a Dingo Sanctuary south of Sydney, where you could possibly take her and ask them for their opinion. I've lost track of their name and contact details but, am sure you'd find it by googling Dingo.
The Vets out at Taronga Park Zoo may also be able to give you some guidance.
